About Maer Estate Holiday Cottages

Maer Estate Holiday Cottages are located on the borders of Staffordshire, Cheshire and Shropshire. Situated in the historical and romantic village of Maer. The entrance to the village is dominated by the 12th century Maer Hall and St.Peters Church where Charles Darwin and Emma Wedgewood married. Our newly renovated country cottages and private gardens nestle within the 200 acre Maer Estate, one of the finest examples of rural England.

The 200 acre Maer Estate boasts a private lake, woodland and meadow walks within rolling countryside. Facilities also include access to private areas of the gardens, adjacent to the cottages for leisurely days, relaxing and observing the wildlife.

Getting out and about from Maer couldn't be easier. We are situated within easy reach of the Midlands major road networks and have plenty of interesting places to visit nearby.

Each cottage has been tastefully decorated and furnished with quality and style to incorporate original features. High qualities of sound and thermal insulation have been achieved during the renovations.
